Refund policy

Returns:

Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. Please note we do not offer refunds for buyers remorse or customer changed mind. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase along with an RTV, return to vendor request. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable): Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error. Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.

Refunds (if applicable): Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable): If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank or credit card account again. It may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at alabamaventilation@gmail.com.

Sale items (if applicable): Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable): We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at alabamaventilation@gmail.com and request an RTV, return to vendor request. Once your request has been approved we will advise you of the address to ship your exchange. Please note we do not cover the cost of returning the defective or damaged product. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

Gifts: If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Shipping: Prior to returning your product please contact us at alabamaventilation@gmail.com for an RTV, return to vendor authorization. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. You should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item and are not responsible for any loss.

Warranty: Alabama Ventilation Company LLC provides the following limited warranty which is valid from the date of invoice to the original purchaser on all products that are tested and/or verified by the manufacturer to be defective in materials and/or workmanship.

This limited warranty applies only to products used for the intended purpose under normal use. A two-year limited warranty applies to all products unless noted as an exception below.

This warranty does not cover failures, defects or malfunctions due to the following:
- Normal wear and tear
- Improper operation, installation or operation, installation not according to instructions
- Misuse, abuse, negligence, alteration or accident
- Freight or transportation damage or shortages resulting from carrier mishandling.
- Product modifications
- Neglect or lack of maintenance

In addition, this warranty does not cover:
- Return freight or delivery costs
- Removal, installation, and associated labor costs
- Loss of time, inconvenience, labor, use of product or other consequential or incidental damages
- Cosmetic rust, corrosion, staining
- Products missing proper labeling or nameplates

Terms:
- Warranty period is effective starting when product ships from Alabama Ventilation Company docks.
- Defective products will be replaced or repaired at the option of Alabama Ventilation Company. For installed assembled fans, Alabama Ventilation Company will provide replacement parts only and will not replace entire assembly.
- Defective products shall only be returned to Alabama Ventilation Company with the approval of Alabama Ventilation Company and at the customer’s expense.
- Replacement products or repair parts under warranty will be shipped to the customer at the expense of Alabama Ventilation Company within the continental United States. For warranty outside of the continental US, replacement parts will be shipped to the nearest continental state at the expense of Alabama Ventilation Company. Alabama Ventilation Company reserves the right to ship products with the freight forwarder of their choice.
- Field repairs/replacements will be performed by the customer at the customer’s expense.

Products with warranty periods other than the standard two-year limited warranty:
- (18BW-3C, 18BW-W3, 20BW-W1, 24BW-W1) 1 year
- (All intake shutters and shutter motor kit) 1 year
- (Inflation blowers and related accessories) 1 year
- (Evaporative coolers) 1 year
- (All replacement parts) 1 year

Returns:
An RMA number is required for all returns. All items must be returned with all original parts and packaging. Additional charges may apply for missing or damaged parts.
Customer must re-package and ship their item(s) back to the manufacturer at their own expense. No freight cost/shipping cost will be refunded to the customer.
A tracking number will be required for each return shipment.
Upon receipt of the product, including original parts and packaging, we may issue a full refund for the product or may repair or replace the item(s) with a new or refurbished product.
If our returns department finds the item to be not defective, the customer may be responsible for extra shipping charges and up to a 30% restocking fee.
